92, of Cranston passed away peacefully on January 27, 2023. He was the husband of the late Noreen M. (Golden) Casey.
Born in Hartford, CT, he was a son of the late Ernestine (Poulin) Casey.
He served in the US Army and was a member of Teamsters Local 251 working at John J. Hudson Liquid Asphalt before his retirement.
He was also a member of the J. F. Finnegan Council of the Knights of Columbus. He enjoyed spending six months in Florida each year.
He leaves his son, John M. Casey and his wife Lee of Cranston; his sister, Dolores Bergeron of Warwick; his grandson, Christopher J. Casey of Cranston; his sister-in-law, Jane Casey of Lincoln; and many nieces and nephews. He was the brother of the late Richard J. Casey; and brother-in-law of the late Robert Bergeron.
His funeral will be held on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 at 10am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11am in St. Mark Church, 9 Garden Court, Cranston. Burial with Military Honors will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston. VISITATION Wednesday from 9-10am.
