John R. Pattison

43, of Cranston, passed away Thursday September 23, 2021 at Miriam Hospital after a long courageous battle with Crohn’s disease. Born in Providence, he was the son of Richard V. Pattison of Riverside and Diane M. Meloccaro of Cranston, and stepson of Michelle Wright of Riverside. John was the dear brother of Lori A. Pattison-Schmidt of North Scituate.

John is also survived by his maternal grandmother, Norma Meloccaro, brother-in-law Justin Pattison-Schmidt, step brothers Robert and Joshua DiBastiani, and his loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

John was a movie aficionado who especially appreciated the antics of The Three Stooges. John also enjoyed spending time with his dog, Bailey, playing video games, and celebrating Halloween, his favorite holiday. His parents referred to John as “my best friend”. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday September 27 at 11 am in St. Mark’s Church in Cranston. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private.
