John J. Warburton

62, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, September 16, 2022.  He was the beloved husband of Michele R. (Levy) Gantman for twenty-one years.

Born in Providence, he was a son of the late James R. and Rita I. (Williams) Warburton.

John was a huge wrestling fan and loved the Boston Red Sox and Dallas Cowboys.  John had a passion for life and was a born comedian who loved to make people laugh. 

Besides his wife, he leaves two children, Brandi Passantino and her husband Donald of NY and Andrew Gantman and his fiancé Denise of NY; his siblings, James L. Warburton of Apache Junction, AZ, Nora Grady of Cranston, Mary Champlin of Westerly and Richard Senesi of Cranston; and was Papa John to Donald Passantino III.  He also leaves many nieces and nephews; extended family on the east coast; and his devoted dog Scrufford Otis.  He was the brother of the late Kathleen, Patricia, Christine and Michael.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his VISITING HOURS Tuesday, September 20, 2022 from 4-6pm followed by a funeral service at 6pm in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
