Josephine B. (Nardolillo) DeBiasio

87, of Coventry and originally from Johnston, passed away on Tuesday, March 21, 2017 at Riverview Healthcare Community, Coventry. She was the beloved wife of Thomas DeBiasio for 66 years. Born in Wakefield, she was a daughter of the late Mario and Nicolina (Scungio) Nardolillo. Mrs. DeBiasio loved to dance, play bingo, and cherished her family.

Besides her husband, she is survived by her loving children, Thomas M. DeBiasio of Johnston, Paula M. Scungio of Johnston and  Toni Ledversis and her husband Donald of Cranston. She was the cherished grandmother of Amy McLaughlin, Kayla Scungio, Allison DeBiasio, Michael J. Scungio, Thomas DeBiasio, Jared Ledversis and Jason Ledversis and great-grandmother of Joshua DeBiasio, Logan McLaughlin and future baby Scungio. She was the sister of Helen Giarrusso of Johnston and the late Marie DiSalvo, Vivian Palermo and Domenic “Bobo” Nardolillo.  Josephine was the dear mother-in-law of Michael Scungio.

Her funeral will be held on Friday, March 24th, at 8:45 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in Our Lady of Grace Church, Johnston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday from 4:00-8:00p.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association P.O. Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
