Josephine L, (Annese) Morelli

93, of Johnston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 24, 2021 at Briarcliffe Gardens, Johnston. She was the beloved wife of sixty-five years to the late Louis J. Morelli. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Salvatore and Maria (LaFauci) Annese.

Josephine is survived by her loving children, Lois M. Iaci and her husband Thomas of Johnston, James J.Morelli and his wife Marie of West Warwick, and Thomas L. Morelli of Providence. She was the cherished grandmother of Christopher Iaci and his wife Dalia, Jennifer Hadden and her husband Samuel, Kathleen Morelli and her wife Laura Roesler, and Michael Morelli, all of West Warwick; and three great-grandchildren, Lily Iaci, Lukas Iaci and Samuel Hadden VI. Josephine was the sister of the late, Martha Loffredo, Pasquale Annese and Thomas Annese.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, May 1st at 11:00 am in Sacred Heart Church, West Warwick. VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on SATURDAY MORNING from 9:00 – 10:00 am. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
