72, of Johnston, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Armand J. and Malvina C. (Dionne) Champagne.
Lorraine is survived by her brother Bob Champagne and his wife Mary of Cranston, her nephew David Champagne and his partner Rodney Roderick of East Greenwich, and her best friend Frances Kemble. She was the sister of the late Arthur Champagne.
She resided at the Scituate Group Home in Johnston. Her family would like to thank the staff at the home for their care and compassion they showed her over many years.
Lorraine loved life, especially when she was listening and singing with Patsy Cline to her music. She so enjoyed participating in Special Olympics and also filling her many purses with little treasures she’d collect throughout the day.
She was a bright star that will continue to shine, she was truly the definition of Love.
Visiting hours will be held on Wednesday, June 15th from 8:30 – 10:30 a.m. in the Nardolillo Funeral Home & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
