Louise A. (Zawislak) Sarazen

Louise A. (Zawislak) Sarazen

of Cranston passed away on Thursday  September 9, 2021 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was the loving wife of Kenneth C. Sarazen for 61 years. She was the daughter of the late Joseph and Nancy (Zeppa) Zawislak. Louise was a graduate of Assumption School, St Patrick’s High School and St Joseph’s Hospital School of Medical Technology. She worked at Our Lady of Fatima Hospital then worked for Dr A.R. Cardi for 30 years and East Side Lab. Warwick Ave. before retiring.

Besides her husband she was the devoted mother of Debra A. Bergeron and her husband Joseph of North Carolina and Susan N. Marsella and the late husband Steven of Cranston; she was the loving grandmother of Nicole L. Bilgen and her husband Mustafa of Georgia and Sheena M. Bergeron of California; loving great-grandmother of Mikail, Leyla and Sarina Bilgen. She was the loving sister of the late Anne C. Rapoza and aunt of Tina (Rapoza ) Rossi and Charles Rapoza. She was the sister- in- law of Patricia Sarazen and the late Arnold Sarazen; sister-in-law of Cynthia Buco and her husband Joseph and sister-in-law of the late Barbara and Gerald Colonna. Louise leaves many wonderful nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

She was a member of St Rocco’s Women’s Guild and Lady of the Valley Society.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston on Friday September 17, 2021 at 10 a.m. followed by a MASS OF Christian Burial in St. Rocco’s Church Atwood Ave. Johnston at 11 am. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.

Visiting Hours are FRIDAY MORNING FROM 9am to 10am.
