Luigi Riccio

82, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 19, 2018 at home, surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband of Joanne K. (Cipriano) Riccio.  Born in Valle Agricola, Italy, he was a son of the late Antonio and Angelina (Iannuccilli) Riccio.  Luigi was a Polisher for various manufacturing companies throughout R.I., for over 25 years, before retiring.

Besides his wife, he is survived by his children Doris Rego and Luigi Riccio, both of Providence, and the late Steven and Robert Riccio.  Luigi also leaves behind his stepchildren Annmarie Riccio of Scituate, Anthony Riccio and Peter Riccio, both of Cranston.  Luigi was the cherished grandfather of several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  He was the dear brother to Linda Pezzullo of Johnston, Dolores Izzo of Providence, Anna Skomin of Providence, Antonio Riccio of Cranston and Joseph Riccio of North Providence, and the late Phyllis Croce.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston at 10:30 a.m.  Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS: Friday MORNING from 8:30-10:00 a.m.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: Hope Hospice & Palliative Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, R.I. 02904.
