97, of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Thursday, May 18, 2017, at Greenwood Nursing Home, Warwick. She was the beloved wife of the late Vincent Esposito. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Francesco and Cristina A. (Pistocco) Votolato. Margaret was employed by Sealol Inc. until 1981. She also worked as a salesperson for the former Filene’s Department Store, before retiring in 1999.

Margaret was the mother of the late Christine Scroggins- Castellanos. She was the cherished grandmother of Serena Jeffers, Katherine Huddleston, Maria Castellanos, and Rose Castellanos, and the great-grandmother of  seven. Margaret was the sister of Ann Kindle and her husband James of Fort Myers, FL. and the late Frank, Ralph, Joseph Votolato, Clara D’Andrea, and Jenny Cacciola. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Rocco Church, 927 Atwood Avenue, Johnston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS Tuesday 4-7 p.m.
