Marie S. (Susi) Blackledge

Marie S. Blackledge (Susi) 96, of Cranston passed away Sunday October 8, 2023 at Roger Williams Medical Center in Providence.

She was the wife of the late Kenneth P. Blackledge.

Born in Cranston, she was the daughter of the late Gabriele and Filomena (D’Angelo) Susi. Marie worked for the State of RI for many years before retiring and was a member of the St. Mary’s Feast Society of Cranston.

She was the devoted mother of Donna Catlow and Mark Blackledge and his wife Stacey; loving grandmother of Nicholas and his wife Amanda, Kaitlin, Brandon, Jessica, Victoria and Giovanni; loving great-grandmother of Aivah, Mason, Robbie and Sophia. She was the dear sister of the late Gino Susi, Louise Sagnella, Theresa Goodhue and Jennie Susi.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial Friday October 13, 2023 in St. Mary’s Church 1525 Cranston St. Cranston at 12 noon. Entombment will follow in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
