Marie E. (Connetti) Notarianni

92, of Cranston, passed away on her dear mother’s birthday, Wednesday, February 19, 2020, surrounded by her family. She was the beloved wife of the late Anthony Notarianni for 45 years. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Anna (Esposito) Connetti. Marie spent her youth on the Connetti farm in Greenville.  Later in life, she was an inspector for General Electric for 15 years until her retirement. Marie was the matriarch of her family and she loved spending time with her family and friends. She was an amazing cook, an avid reader and a lifelong parishioner at St. Mary’s Church in Cranston. Her faith in God and positive nature were an inspiration to all who knew her.

Marie is survived by her loving daughter, Lori Tait and her husband Andrew of Scituate. She was the loving mother of the late Joseph Notarianni. Marie was the cherished grandmother of Joseph, Laura, Alexandra, Nicholas and Ian. She was the sister of Ann Cabral of Greenville, Donald Connetti of Greenville, Carole Hall of Smithfield and the late Joseph Connetti. Marie was the aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Her funeral will be held on Monday, Feb. 24th, at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Sunday 4:00-7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O.
