Mary L. Simeone, 90 of Cranston passed away Monday, September 26, 2022, surrounded by her family. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Giuseppe and Amalia (DiClemente) Simeone.

Mary worked for over 60 years at CJ Fox Company where she was an office team member. In her younger years she was part of a Monday night bowling league at Lang’s Bowlarama. She also had a standing date for a weekly card night with the girls. On Saturday evenings, she frequently gathered at her friend’s house for food and pleasant conversation.  Mary enjoyed Saturday mornings with her lady friends at the Warwick Mall food court.  Those who knew her were very familiar with her shopping at Macy’s looking for the latest deals on a new outfit. Mary traveled to many destinations including Italy, Hawaii, California and New Orleans just to name a few. During the summer, she and her friends would spend the entire day at the beach, and she clearly stood out sporting her green polka dot bathing suit.

Mary is survived by her twin sister Julia DiIorio along with several nieces and nephews and many great nieces and nephews. She was the beloved sister to the late Palma Salvatore (Simeone), and brother to the late Ralph Simeone.

Her funeral service will be held on Saturday October 1, 2022, at 11:00 am at the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston. Burial will follow in St. Ann Cemetery.  After the cemetery the family has asked that you join them to continue the celebration of Mary’s life, with a breaking of the bread. Details will be provided at the cemetery.  VISITING HOURS will be held just prior to the service from 9:00am -11:00 am.  AT THE REQUEST OF THE FAMILY PLEASE WEAR MASKS.
