Michael Grant

52, of Cranston, passed away on Monday, April 5, 2021 at Kent Hospital. Born in Providence, he spent his youth with the Smith family and siblings Ronald and Peter.  In his later years he lived with Joseph Moore and Cerue Gray. 

Michael spent 30 years with the Avatar community.  He was a member of Westside Tabernacle Baptist Church in Providence. Michael attended AccessPoint RI for many years. He also took pride in competing as an athlete in the Special Olympics.

Michael will be remembered for his love of his church, enjoyment of burgers, ice cream, games, and walks in nature. His friends would describe him as mischievous and playful.  He was often seen holding the hand of a pretty woman and showing simple acts of kindness to those he cared for.

VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday, April 13th from 4:00 – 5:30 pm. His funeral service will begin at 5:30 pm. Burial will be private.
