Nancy A. Murphy-Goodwin

68, of Snug Harbor passed away peacefully on November 22, 2021 at her home surrounded by her loving family.  She was the beloved wife of Richard G. Goodwin for eight years.

Born in East Meadow, NY, she was the daughter of the late Alfred L. and Muriel F. (Cahill) Murphy.

Nancy received a BA from Adelphi University and worked at the University of Rhode Island before retiring.

She was an avid golfer and exercise enthusiast and enjoyed working out with the South Kingstown Women’s Bootcamp.

She leaves two step-sons, Kyle Goodwin (Lynn) of Wakefield and Glenn Goodwin (Liisa Hallberg) of Wakefield; two brothers, Larry Murphy (Lisa) of Clancy, MT and Robert Murphy (Ellen) of Lewis, DE; nieces and nephews, Caitlin Murphy (David Hong) of Gaithersburg, MD, Robert Murphy (Emily) of Broomfield, CO, Abby Johnson of Billings, MT, Kevin Murphy of Clancy, MT and Molly R. Murphy (Madison) of Denver, CO; step-grandchildren, Evan Goodwin and Roxanne Goodwin.

A Celebration of Nancy’s Life will be held Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at 11am in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory – SOUTH COUNTY CHAPEL, 1111 Boston Neck Road, (Rt. 1A), Narragansett.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Hope Health Hospice Care of RI, 1085 North Main Street, Providence, RI 02904.
