Nancy Peters Obituary
73, of Cranston, passed away in her home surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, September 30, 2021. She was the beloved wife of the late Christopher Peters. Born in Monrovia, Liberia, she was the daughter of the late Daniel and Julia (Smith) Howard. Nancy was a major, in the Liberia Police Department for many years until retiring.
Nancy was the loving mother of Ankie Isibor of Providence, Christen Alves of PA, Nancy Peters of Philadelphia, PA, Marwen Peters of Liberia, Ernestine Peters of Liberia, Jovita Massey of Providence and Enolia Peters of Providence. She was the cherished grandmother of 20 and great grandmother of 13.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Saturday, October 16, 2021, in the Second Free Will Baptist Church, 75 Chester Ave, Providence. Her services will begin at 9:00 a.m. and conclude by 11:00 a.m. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, 73 Church St., Cranston.
