Pasquale 'Pat' Marrese

95, of Cherry Hill Rd., Johnston, passed away on Friday, July 22, 2016 at RI Hospital in Providence.  He was the beloved husband of Mary Palmy (Manzo) Marrese.  Born in Providence, and a lifelong resident of Cranston, he was the son of the late Clemente and Maria (DeRobbio) Marrese.

Pat was a Toolmaker Designer in the jewelry industry for 50 years before retiring.  He was an active member of St. Mary’s Church Holy Name Society and Boy Scouts of America Pack 1.  Pat was a master of many trades, “If you can’t find it he will make it”!

Besides his wife, he was the devoted father of Patricia R. Boggia-Pedersen and her husband William of Norwood, MA, Clemente R. Marrese and his wife Lynn of Warwick, Mary A. Sylvia and her husband Karl of Myrtle Beach, SC  and Anthony M. Marrese and his wife Leslie of Nashua, NH; loving grandfather of Stephen, Sarah, Richard, Dr. Christine, James, Anthony Jr., Justin and Katie Marie; loving great grandfather of Nolan, Brody, William, Hailey, Jakob and Matteo; and dear brother of the late Cora Garzone, Assunta Magnarella and Lillian Ruemeli.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Thursday, July 28th at 10 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church, 1525 Cranston St., Cranston at 11 a.m.  Burial will be at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Wednesday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
