Raymond E Paolo

76, of Johnston, RI, passed away after a long battle with Parkinson’s Disease on May 18, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was the beloved husband of Elaine (Cipriano) Paolo. They were married for the past 55 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Domenic and  Elizabeth (Zangari) Paolo. Ray  worked in the Finance industry for many years until his retirement.

Besides his beloved wife Elaine , he is survived by his loving children: David R. Paolo and his wife Kathy of East Greenwich and Melissa Paolo Bassano and her husband David of Plymouth, MA , his cherished grandsons: Alex, Gianni, Liam, Christian and Aidan; his dear sister: Martha Gagnon and her husband Walter. Ray was also the brother of the late : Robert and Thomas Paolo.

His funeral will be held on Wednesday morning at 9 am from the NARDOLILLLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 am in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS : Tuesday evening 4-7 pm.
