Robert P. Ciancola

of Cranston, passed away on February 14, 2018.  He was the beloved husband for 51 years of the late Brenda Lee (Smith) Ciancola.  Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Peter and Josephine (Alviti) Ciancola.

Robert was an account executive with Roger Williams Foods and Supervalue; owner of Mr. C’s Meatland and co-owner of Bob’s Market. He was the former Cranston City Sergeant; founder of CLCF Wrestling Program and sponsored numerous little league, baseball and hockey teams.

He was the devoted father of Rebecca Paniccia (Peter) of Cranston, Shelley Shepherd (Arvis) of Leesville, SC, Robert Ciancola (Linda) of Attleboro, MA and Paul Ciancola of Scituate; loving grandfather of Sean and Jared Murphy, Lindsey , Cassie and Gabby Ciancola and Amanda and Andrew Paniccia; and dear brother of Victoria Houlihan and Christine Pagliarini both of Coventry.

VISITATION will be held on Sunday, February 18th from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m., followed by a FUNERAL SERVICE at 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.  Burial will be private.
