Robert DiZoglio Obituary

69, of Cranston, passed away on Tuesday, January 5, 2020 at Kent Hospital, Warwick. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Frank and Catherine (DelVecchio) DiZoglio. Robert was a co-owner of DiZoglio Paper for 30 years before retiring. He loved spending time with his children and grandchildren. He enjoyed golfing and was a member of Metacomet Country Club for many years.

Robert is survived by his loving sons, Evan DiZoglio and his wife Brianna of Cranston, and Jesse DiZoglio and his wife Alexandra of North Kingstown. He was the cherished grandfather of David, Nathan, Elijah, Leo and Isaiah. Robert was the brother of Frank A. “Bucky” DiZoglio of Jamestown.

His Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, January 9th, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cathedral of Sts. Peter and Paul, 30 Fenner St., Providence. SEATING WILL BE LIMITED. A livestream of his Mass will be shown via Nardolillo Funeral Home Facebook page: www.Facebook.com/nardolillofh. Masks are required and social distancing will be observed. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution in Robert’s name may be made to the Cranston Western Little League, C/O Gary Bucci, 67 Sage Drive, Cranston, RI 02921.
