Robert K. Ferra Sr.

70, of Smithfield, passed away on Thursday, April 28, 2022 at Fatima Hospital, North Providence. He was the beloved husband of Cheryl (Sylvia) Ferra for 25 years and together for 40 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Ralph Ferra Sr., and Jennie (Rizzo) Ferra. Mr. Ferra was a tradesman in the construction industry for many years before retiring. Robert enjoyed spending time with his family, his dogs Half Pint and the late Tiny, boating, and working with his hands.

Besides his wife Cheryl, he was the loving father of Robert Ferra Jr., and his wife Alexandria of Smithfield, and Christopher Ferra and his longtime girlfriend Leah Collins of North Providence. He was the brother of Ralph Ferra Jr., of North Smithfield, JoAnn Cullinane of Vero Beach, FL, Linda Brown of North Providence, Michael Ferra of Cranston, Barbara Ferra of Coventry, the late Carolann Blackwood, Frank Ferra, Joseph Ferra, and AnnMarie Stanley.

Visiting hours will be held on Tuesday, May 3rd, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. followed by his Funeral Home Service at 10:00 a.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, 1661 Worcester Road, Suite 30, Framingham, MA, 01701.
