Rose V. (Confreda) Barone

93, of East Greenwich, previously of Cranston, passed away on Monday, July 9th, 2018 at St. Elizabeth Home, East Greenwich. She was the beloved wife of the late Nicholas P. Barone. Born in Warwick, she was the daughter of the late John and Anna (Feroche) Confreda. Mrs. Barone was a bookkeeper for Leesona and Allendale for many years until her retirement.

She is survived by her loving children Dr. Nicholas D. Barone of and his wife Diane of Lincoln, Elaine Deegan and her husband Jeffry of West Greenwich, her dear siblings Vincent J. Confreda of Warwick, Marie Andrade of Coventry, her cherished grandchildren Amy Shunney, Dr. Nicholas P. Barone, Dr. Nicole Deegan, Julia Deegan, Sara Bowater and Thomas Leavitt and her great grandchildren Tom Raymond Bowater, Kaylee Rose Bowater, Jacob Shunney, Emma Rose Shunney, Lester Walden Barone, Russell Lewis Barone, Waylon Jeffery Barone, Rosemary Jean Donahue and Nora Jane Donahue. Rose was also the mother of the late Mary J. Leavitt and sister of the late John V. Confreda and Pasquale Confreda.

Her funeral will be held on Friday at 10:30 am from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave., Cranston followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 am in Holy Apostles Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann’s Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Thursday 4-8 pm.
