Rosine A. (Kheshvadjian) Darakjian

Rosine Darakjian was a caring wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She left this world on February 17, 2021 at 3:05 p.m. at the age of 88 to meet our heavenly father.

She was born to Hagop and Mary Kheshvadjian on August 29th, 1932. At the young age of 19, she met her husband, Hagop Darakjian whom she married on November 19th, 1951 and subsequently had four children Jirair, Sylva, Hasmig and Hratch.

In 1976 the couple decided to leave the comfort of their home in Beirut, Lebanon to relocate to the states to provide a safe haven for their young family.

She was a dedicated and loving mother who was always there everyday to greet her children after school making sure they were all taken care of in every way possible. Through her teachings and guidance, she always pushed her children to achieve their goals and be the best they could be,

She volunteered at several church, sang with the choir and was always there to lend a hand whenever she could. She is survived by her four children, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Her funeral service will be held on Monday, February 22nd at 11:00 a.m. at the Armenian Congregational Church in Cranston, after which she will be laid to rest at Swan Point Cemetery. Covid-19 guidelines does not allow gatherings so it will be limited strictly to family members.
