Salvatore Magliocco

97, of Mayfield Ave. Cranston, RI, passed away peacefully at home on Saturday, October 6, 2018. He was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Padula) Magliocco. They were happily married for 61 years. Born in Cranston, RI, he was the son of the late Pasquale and Maria Magliocco. Salvatore was a US Navy Veteran, serving during World War II. After his honorable discharge from the Navy, he worked as a toolmaker for United Shoe Ornament for over 50 years before retiring.

Salvatore is survived by his loving children, Robert L. Magliocco and his wife Lorna of Cranston, RI, Stephen A. Magliocco and his partner Michael J. Carroll of FL and MA, and Richard J. Magliocco and his companion Sharon Comey of MA. He was the proud grandfather of Lisa, Mark, Daniel, Josh and great grandfather of Zachary, Raelin, Aydan, Autumn and Bryan.

VISITING HOURS will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory 1278 Park Ave. Cranston, RI, on THURSDAY MORNING from 9:00 – 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am in Assumption of the BVM Parish, 791 Potters Ave., Providence, RI. Burial with military honors will be held in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston, RI. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to: VNA of Rhode Island, 475 Kilvert Street  Suite 400  Bldg.
