Simon Lau

Simon Lau, of Cranston passed away unexpectedly at his home on July 19th, 2021.

He was born in Providence on April 22nd 1985. Simon was the last of five boys born to Man Lin Lau and Yin Zong Lin. Simon grew up in Cranston and attended Cranston High School East class of 2003. He then attended University of Rhode Island majoring in finance. After graduating early he started working for CVS Health in Cumberland as an accountant. When he had free time he enjoyed traveling with family all over the world and playing online video games with his friends the Zoltan Gamers.

Simon is survived by his 4 brothers Bing Lin Liu and wife Kitty of East Greenwich, Tom Lau and wife Elena of San Carlos, CA, Charlie Lau and wife Carla of Singapore and Bobby Lau and wife Samantha Smith of Ripton, VT.

His parents preceded him in death. Simon leaves a legacy of love and loyalty behind and will be missed by all who knew him including his best friend Nam Sam of Worcester, MA and his many nieces, nephews, cousins and family all over the country.

His funeral service will be held in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 12:00 noon.

Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park Cemetery, Johnston. VISITING HOURS will precede his service from 10:00 am – 12:00 pm.
