Susan Nievera Obituary
of Gray Coach Lane, Cranston, passed away Friday, February 12, 2021 at RI Hospital in Providence. She was the beloved wife for 45 years of Edward J. Nievera, Jr. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Antonetta (Vinagro) Melone.
Susan was a radiation therapist for many years before retiring.
Besides her husband Ed, she was the devoted mother of Matthew E. Nievera and Ariane M. Myrtle and her husband Daniel, all of Cranston; loving grandmother of Harrison and Benjamin Myrtle; and dear sister of Frank Melone, Jr., Lucille Reilly, Anne Hughes and Elaine Bardoussi, all of Warwick.
Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 19th at 10 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, 237 Garden Hills Dr., Cranston (seating will be limited, social distancing and masks required). Burial at St. Ann Cemetery will be private. Visiting hours are Thursday from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
