Susan B. (Baligian) Torkomian

of Lake Worth, FL, formerly of Wood Road, Middletown, RI passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Wednesday, May 5, 2021.  She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Torkomian. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Margaret (Tuktukian) Baligian.

Susan was an EKG Technician at Newport Hospital for many years before retiring.

After retiring, she moved to Boynton Beach, FL where she lived with her late husband Robert. She dedicated a lot of her time to the community in RI and loved volunteering at many places including Bethesda Hospital in FL.

She was the devoted mother of Gary V. Torkomian of Middletown, RI, Lesa S. Wright of Lake Worth, FL and the late Robert M. Torkomian of East Hartford, CT.  Cherished grandmother of Meghan Torkomian Hilliard, Kelly Palmer, Jonathon R. Torkomian, Allie N. Torkomian, Kristen Wright, and Joseph Wright. Loving great-grandmother of five, soon to be six, great-grandchildren. Dear sister of George Baligian and his wife Ann of Cranston, Marion Murray and her late husband Gerald of Coventry; and loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Visiting hours are Wednesday, May 12th at Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Providence from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 11 a.m. (Social distancing and masks required) Burial will be at Swan Point Cemetery, Providence.
