Valerie A. Gambuto-Carnevale

62, of Cranston, passed away on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. She was the beloved wife of Enrico "Ricky" Carnevale for thirty-four years. Born in Providence, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Mary (Sullo) Zaccardelli.

Valerie worked in sales and management at National Plumbing Kitchen and Bath Showcase. She also worked for Petra fashions as a consultant and area manager of the "Genuine Treasures" group. Valerie was a lifelong bowler and ran the SWINGERS bowling league at Town Hall Lanes for the past thirty-five years.

She also enjoyed motorcycling with her husband. Valerie was a member of the General Federation of Women's Club. She was also treasurer of the Cranston Community Women's Club and was very active in service with Operation Stand Down and the Holly Charette House.

Her funeral will be held on Tuesday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, followed by a Funeral Service at 10:00 a.m. in St. David’s on-the-Hill Episcopal Church, 200 Meshanticut Valley Pkwy, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Monday from 4:00-8:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Valerie's memory to the Gloria Gemma Breast Cancer Foundation, 249 Roosevelt Avenue, Pawtucket, R.I., 02860 or to St Patrick's Catholic Church, 2068 Cranston Street, Cranston, R.I., 02920.
