Vincent R. "Pinky" Boissy

85, of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital. He was the beloved husband of Joann (Storti) Boissy. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late Roland and Stella (Sedwick) Boissy.

Pinky grew up in Johnston, Rhode Island and after high school served in Patton's old 3rd Armored Division in the US Army.  After his military service, he worked as a truck driver for many years before retiring. Pinky loved the outdoors, especially fishing, gardening, and taking care of his beloved dog Daisy.

Besides his wife Joann, he is survived by his loving children, Melissa, Vincent and David Boissy, all of Warwick. He was the brother of Joan Priest of South Carolina.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Tuesday at 10:00 am followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston. Burial with military honors will follow in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS will be held on Monday from 4:00 – 7:00 pm. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: EGAPL Heart of RI Animal Rescue League, 44 Worthington Rd., Cranston, RI 02920.
