Obituary

80, of Providence, passed away on June 11, 2022 at Rhode Island Hospital, Providence. He was the beloved husband of Ann (Bonner) Harper. They were married for the past 33 years. Born in Providence, he was the son of the late John “Jack” Harper and Mary Grace (Maloney) Harper. He was known as "Bill" to family and friends. 

A talented telecommunications specialist and electrical engineer, Bill was instrumental in bringing the first ITT Electronics franchise to Rhode Island in the 1960's. Bill also  worked as an electrical engineer for North East Knitting in Pawtucket, RI for many years until his retirement.

He is survived by his children: Jeanie(Alex) Baker of AR, Diane(Mike) Rudolph of AR, John Harper of NY; Step-sons, Scott Nassa of MA and Mark Nassa of Lincoln. Grandchildren Tori Lynn Rudolph and Emma Grace Baker of AR and Taylor and Jordan Nassa of MA.

His committal prayers will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 9:30 am in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston . Relatives and friends are invited to attend the procession to be formed at the front gates of cemetery at 9:00 am.
