William P. Heidt

81, of West Greenwich, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2019 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center. He was the beloved husband of Aleta Baligian-Heidt for 35 years. Born in New York, NY he was the son of the late Samuel and Donata (Biase) Heidt.

Besides his wife Aleta, he is survived by his sister, Rosanne Cerbo; brother-in-law Arlin Baligian and his wife Patty. He is also survived by his cherished “fur babies” Mei Li and Miiko.

William had a strong love and passion for music. He was an opera singer performing in the NY Grand Opera. He and his wife Aleta sang opera together for many years.

His funeral service will be held in RI Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 301 S County Trail, Exeter on Monday, November 4th at 11:30 am. Relatives and friends will gather inside the main gates of the cemetery at 11:15 am. Visiting hours and flowers are respectfully omitted.
