William F. Santilli

78, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, November 6, 2017 at Briarcliffe Manor in Johnston. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late Francis A. and Carmella (Misischia) Santilli.

William was the owner of Spectrum Polishing at The Jewelry Center in Johnston for many years before retiring. He served as a member of the Johnston Town Council for 6 years and was also a Democratic Town Committee member for 6 years. William was Past Commander of the Junior Naval Cadets of America and American Youth Military Academy. More recently, he became the President of the Pell Manor Association, where he lived. He was an avid golfer and New York Yankee fan.

He is survived by his loving children, Cheryl Oulette and her husband Alex, Tina Iacobucci and her husband Richard, Barbara Absi and her husband Michael, William Santilli, Jr. and his wife Elizabeth, Lisa McGuire and her husband William, and Dino Santilli; eighteen cherished grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren; dear siblings, Gertrude Signore, David Santilli, Joanne Cambio, Domenic Santilli, Eleanor Caniglia, Ronald Santilli, Anthony Santilli and the late Francis Santilli. William was also the former husband of Barbara J. (McKendall) Santilli.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his funeral service in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston on Monday at 7:45 pm. VISITING HOURS will precede the service from 4:00 – 7:45 pm. Burial will be private.
