Yolanda R. Petrolino

99, of Johnston, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at the Cherry Hill Manor in Johnston.  Born in North Providence, she was the daughter of the late Luigi and Julia “Mary” (Rotondo) Petrolino, and sister of the late Margaret Gentile.

She is survived by her brother-in-law Robert Gentile; niece and nephew Robin Sievers, Paul Gentile and his wife Laura; great niece and nephew Brandon Sievers, Nicole Kilpatrick and her husband Adam, and the late Ashley Sievers; great-great niece Luna.

Yolanda was the owner and operator of Yola’s Beauty Salon for over 50 years.  She was devoted to her faith and a very active parishioner at St. Rocco’s Church.  She also loved traveling with her friends and family to Italy.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Mass of Christian Burial on Monday, February 12th at 11:00 a.m. in St. Rocco’s Church, Johnston.  Burial will follow in Highland Memorial Park, Johnston.  Visiting hours are respectfully omitted.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Rocco’s Church, 927 Atwood Ave., Johnston, RI 02919.
