93, of Johnston, passed away on Monday, September 18, 2017 at RI Hospital, Providence. He was the loving husband of Nancy (Menna) DeMelo for 71 years. Born in Providence, he was a son of the late John and Arcangela (Cardente) DeMelo. Anthony was the beloved father of the late Carol DeMelo and John DeMelo. He was the brother of the late Theresa Paliotta, Paul DeMelo and Louis DeMelo. Anthony was a truck driver for Narragansett Brewery for 40 years until his retirement. He was a US army veteran serving during WWII.

His funeral will be held on Friday at 9:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:00 a.m. in St. Bartholomew’s Church, Providence. Burial take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS: Friday morning from 8:00-9:00 a.m.
