of Cranston, passed away on Wednesday, October 26, 2016 at Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center in Providence surrounded by his loving family.  He was the beloved husband for 61 years of Assunta C. (DiFazio) Piccolino.  Born in Ausonia, Italy, he was the son of the late Arcangelo and Carmina (Cardillo) Piccolino.

Benny was a self-employed carpenter in the building industry for 25 years; and was a member of Santa Maria di Prata Society in Cranston.

Besides his wife Assunta, he was the devoted father of Maria Paliotta and her husband Alessandro “Alex” of Johnston and the late Benedetto “Benny” A. Piccolino; loving grandfather of Marisa Paliotta, Paul Paliotta, Nicolas Piccolino and Adriana Piccolino; and dear brother of Maria Grazia DiRaimo of Brazil, Sr. Rosina Piccolino of Rome, Italy, Pasquale Piccolino of Foster, Anna DiRaimo of Cranston and the late Giovanni, Yolanda and Giuseppe Piccolino.

Funeral from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston on Monday at 9 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Rocco Church, 931 Atwood Ave., Johnston at 10 a.m.  Entombment will be in Our Risen Christ Garden Mausoleum at St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.  VISITING HOURS are Sunday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m.
