86, of Oaklawn Ave., Cranston, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2017 at Kent Hospital in Warwick.  Born in Providence, she was the beloved daughter of the late Manoog K. and Nevart (Ervanian) Atamian.

Gloria worked for the State of RI at CCRI and later at RI College before retiring.

She was the devoted mother of Steven M. Zaroogian and his wife Evelyn of Warwick, Matthew J. Zaroogian and his wife Jennifer of North Providence and Cynthia J. Zaroogian of Cranston; loving grandmother of Ashley Soule Hipsky, Steven Zaroogian II and Sara Zaroogian; loving great-grandmother of Robert and Angalina Hipsky; and dear sister of Gary J. Atamian of Cranston, Dorothy Arakelian of Whitinsville, MA and Shirley Derderian of Cranston.

Her Funeral Service to which relatives and friends are invited, will be held on Tuesday, May 30th at 11 a.m. in Sts. Vartanantz Armenian Apostolic Church, Broadway, Providence, followed by burial at North Burial Ground, Providence.  VISITING HOURS are Monday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Ave., Cranston.
