91, of Cranston, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017, surrounded by her loving family. She was the beloved wife of the late Domenick Ruscito. Born in Providence, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Grace (Palumbo) Gionti. Mary was a longtime Cranston resident and one of her greatest pleasures was cooking and baking for her family and friends.

Mary is survived by her loving children, Deborah Capezza and her husband Nicholas of Cranston, Steven Ruscito and his wife Judy of Warwick and Cynthia Pizzuti and her husband Robert of Florida. She was the cherished grandmother of Brian Capezza, Nicole Capezza, Courtney Abbruzzese, Robert Pizzuti and the late Eric Ruscito. She was the great-grandmother of Zander and Bryce Lee. She was the sister of Josephine Parente of Smithfield, Anna Gionti of New Jersey, Julio Gionti of Coventry, Joseph Gionti of Florida and the late Christine Giramma, Rose Schneider, Salvatore Gionti and Vivian DiCenso.

Her funeral will be held on Thursday, January 19th, at 10:00 a.m. from the NARDOLILLO FUNERAL HOME & Crematory, 1278 Park Avenue, Cranston, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary’s Church, Cranston. Burial will take place in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston.
