I'm so sorry for your loss. I have fond memories of the daily lunches I had at Cookie Lady. He was always very generous and would often offer to share his own lunch when he made something special. He will be missed by many.
In sympathy

Dear Donato Family, I'm so sorry for the loss of your loved one Mr. Basil Donato. Knowing the pain of losing friends and family in death, I would like to share words of consolation found in the Holy Scriptures that have helped me in times of sorrow. The God of all comfort promises that "He will swallow up death forever, and the sovereign lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces.” – (Isaiah 25: 8). God also promise us that he will resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death (John 5:28, 29). What a marvelous time that will be! Life in a paradise earth and in perfect health.

With deepest sympathy,
Carol M

We are so sorry for your loss. We will never forget Uncle Basil and his "Unforgettable Pancakes!!"
Uncle Bay was a special person and I have many fond memories of times I spent together with him as a child. I will always remember the warmth of his hugs as a little girl and the fun times we had together with him, Auntie Kathy and the rest of our family when we would visit. I'll never forget when he came to my rescue with coffee grinds, to try and help when I cut myself...Uncle Bay was that kind of guy... the one who would lend a hand, give a hug or some advice when you needed it most. One of my most recent memories that I will always hold dear to me of him, was when he made Nicholas his famous "snowman pancake!" Nicholas LOVED it and he even ate the chocolate chips and powdered sugar, thanks to Uncle Bay!!! Uncle Basil you will never be forgotten and you will remain forever in our hearts!!!! We will miss you and we love you!!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you during this most difficult time.

Dear John, Joanne and DiBona and Donato Families,

We are very sorry for your loss. We will always remember going to the "Cookie Lady" years ago, and every time we see zucchini's, we always think of your restaurant, as we would order a zucchini omelette every time we stopped in for breakfast, on a Sunday morning. Sending our deepest sympathy to all of you at this very difficult time.
