Of Cranston, passed away peacefully on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at the Philip Hulitar Hospice Inpatient Center, Providence. She was the beloved wife of seventy-three years to Rocco Imondi. Born in Cranston, she was a daughter of the late Gene and Helen (Lanni) DeMarquette, residing in Cranston most of her life. While attending Cranston High School, she was selected as a member of the RI Honor Society. She was a member of the Alpine Country Club and an avid golfer and bridge player. Jeanne was a communicant of Immaculate Conception Church and a member of the choir for several years. In her early years she was employed by the office of Price Administration and later the Veterans Administration.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, Thomas S. Imondi of Cranston and was the mother of the late Richard D. Imondi and Paul R. Imondi. She was the cherished grandmother of Tara Ann Imondi of Mansfield, MA and Richard David Imondi, Jr. of North Kingstown. She was the sister of the late Dorothy Kimball and the aunt of Joan Anderson of Florida and the late Sandra Reynolds.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday at 10:30 a.m. in Immaculate Conception Church, Oaklawn Avenue, Cranston. Burial will be in St. Ann Cemetery, Cranston. VISITING HOURS are respectfully omitted. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to: St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, P.O. Box 1000 – Dept. 142, Memphis, TN 38101-9908.
