I am so sorry to hear of Dr. Recchia's passing. He was my doctor for over 15 years until he retired........I remember him being such a kind and compassionate man and I owe him so much for the care he provided during my illness 22 years ago. We used to talk about fly fishing and compare our gear and great finds.........rest in peace dear man.........

Dearest Lisa:

My cousin and I were deeply saddened to read of your father's passing. We were reminiscing about the many holidays we used to share with you at the house on Oaklawn Avenue. Losing a parent is one of life's worst heartaches. Please know you are in our thoughts and prayers.

Dearest Maria's,
Thank you both so much for the heartfelt condolences. My dad's illness was very sudden and very swift. We are all so heartbroken to lose him, yet thankful he is no longer in pain. It was very kind of Stephen to pay his respects also. I remember fondly those days at "Nonni and Papa's" . Through the years I have thought of you all with great affection. You were such a warm and loving family, cut from the same mold as my own. I wish you all health and happiness. Thank you again for your kindness.

With Love,
Lisaxo

To the Recchia Family,
We are so sorry to hear of the passing of such a caring, kind and loving gentleman. Richard was always a great person to be around. I fondly remember all the time we spent together at the Alpine, Racket Club, and Atwood Ave Tennis Courts. Time together at all the various pools, tennis courts, and family events. He was always such a positive presence . A great all around guy, super dad, friend, cousin. Remembering all the good times will help you through the sadness of your loss. Our deepest sympathy to you all. Erin and Bill Capuano

To: Dr. Recchia's Family,

I am so sorry for the passing of Dr. Recchia. I met all of you , back in the mid 90's, when Dr. Recchia's parents came to live at Victoria Court, and I was the Activity Director. Your family will always leave an ever lasting impression with me, for the love, and devotion you showed to your parents, while they resided there. A beautiful family, well respected, and never once looked down on anyone. I will always remember the down to earth family you always were and the respect so many had for you. A person is never remembered by his wealth, fame or fortune, but for the person he was inside, and I will remember a kind, compassionate gentleman, he was.

Sometimes, I just don't know what to say. I just remember Dr. Recchia being a good doctor when I was young and what a handsome guy he was. So sorry for your loss to a special family that my mom was close to.

A simple person leading a simple life knows true riches
Living his purpose, he’s not compelled to devise a complicated and gaudy life
At peace with his many facets, he feels no need to wander about
Searching for what’s inside; at home with the secrets of life
He practically ignores them preferring to take life as it comes.

Delighting in a kind gesture, a quiet moment with a friend
He knows his sphere of influence and fills it with light.
With the gates of heaven in his hands, he prefers to live and die right here
For, in the universe, here is where he lived
